NC State Government Resources

If you're looking for a way to communicate a message to the citizens of North Carolina, the United States or even the world, then look to the NC Agency for Public Telecommunications (APT) (link opens in new window).  You can think of APT as your gateway to communications services for governmental and other publicly funded entities.  As a component of APT, OPEN/net (link opens in new window) is a statewide television call-in program providing a venue that state government agencies can use to promote their programs to the public, inform the public about issues of concern (e.g. emergency preparedness; increases in disease rates; etc.), and gather reactions from listeners about the topic of each show.  This allows agencies to reach out to partners and priority populations.
