Filters, Risers, Seals and Tire Chip Approvals

All septic tanks require an effluent filter located on the outlet end of the tank. Risers are required on all pump tanks, septic tanks buried deeper than six inches and grease traps. Cast-in-place penetration seals are required on the outlet end of all tanks. On-Site Section engineers review component applications and maintain lists of approved effluent filters, plastic risers and penetration seals for use with all tanks.
