Note: If available, we encourage you to take Stress Management in conjunction with the Effective Communication course offered in another 2 hour session on the same day at the same location. You will need to register for both.

Course Description:

This two hour course allows participants the opportunity to discuss what causes their personal stress, how stress affects them and ways to cope with stress.

General Course Objectives:

Participants attending this course will:

  • Identify their positive and negative stressors.
  • Determine what they can and cannot control.
  • Identify their bodies' responses to stress.
  • Determine their individual stress level.
  • Identify stress-reducing techniques.
  • Practice various stress-reducing techniques.
Instructors:

Staff Development and Human Resource instructors.
