Clinicians who diagnose and treat tuberculosis patients benefit from annual clinical updates. Annual updates allow clinicians to maintain standard of care to all patients. An educational program is needed to implement protocol based on policy and treatment guidelines from the N.C. TB Control Policy Manual, and recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American Thoracic Society and Infectious Diseases Society of America. This conference is designed to provide insight to risks that contribute to TB or those likely to compound the difficulty in managing TB cases while providing solutions.

Physicians and other providers interested in TB control, treatment and research are encouraged to attend this free symposium at the Duke University Medical Center, Durham, or via interactive teleconference at six additional satellite sites across the state.
