Fire and Life Safety Training (Required Training)
Fire and Life Safety Training: for orientation and other use; required for DPH employees.Training is required in accordance with North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry, 29 CFR Part 1910.157: Fire Extinguishers; stating that annual Fire Extinguisher training is required.

To complete the training, Division of Public Health employees should:

  1. Review the Fire and Life Safety Training Presentation (557 kb, PDF - link opens in new window)
  2. Download, complete, and forward the "Division of Public Health Safety Training Session Participation" (40 kb, PDF, link opens in new window) form to your unit/agency Administrative/HR representative listed on the form.
